SCOZAP is inviting you all to keep the 5th of October 2019 available for our AGM, this year the meeting will be held in Glasgow and we are hoping to make it a memorable day with great discussions. Please come along and join in and potentially identify areas you can get yourself involved in.
At this event, multiple young people will be sharing stories of their mental health journeys, and the things that made a positive difference in their lives. We will also be sharing exciting news about an upcoming project involving a new peer support group with an emphasis on volunteering projects. Free snacks will also be available, so come and bring a friend!
Thinking about getting fit and active? Why not do it BIG with the Edinburgh 10k run?
Some members of Scotland Zambia Partnership (SCOZAP) will be participating as a group and welcome all who would like to join us.
The 10k run is part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and will take place on Saturday 25th May 2019. Challenge yourself and start a healthy habit!
Don’t worry if you’re a beginner, there are plenty of resources to help such as the couch-to-10k app and we will continuously support each other prior to the 10k and all the way through.
Entry fee is £27.85. A number of people will be fundraising for SCOZAP so that the organisation can continue to improve the lives of our communities in Scotland and Zambia. If you would like to join us in fundraising then SCOZAP will help pay for your entry fee as a token of appreciation. Please get in touch for us to set this up with you.
We are planning to hold a SOCIAL EVENT after the run and welcome everyone to join us even if you are not taking part. It will be a chance to relax, catch up and recover from the hard work we will all put into the 10k.
If you’re interested and would like some more information, don’t hesitate to get in touch through email: email@example.com
The Zambian High Commission is pleased to invite you all to join the celebration of International Women’s Day on the 8th March 2019 with an event focusing on the Awesome Zambian women in the Diaspora!
